Lesson Plan Ideas for Teachers
are designed to stimulate classroom discussion. The lesson plan ideas accompany our character biographies to help students relate to the Six Pillars of Character and apply them to their everyday lives. These exercises, which can also be used by parents/guardians in the student’s home, enable teachers to implement character education in their classrooms with little or no planning on their part.

Several pages of resource materials appropriate for elementary school students are also provided in the CHARACTER COUNTS! School Agendas. This information serves as a functional reference tool for students.
